Job description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal (Bilingual) to support our attorneys throughout the life cycle of plaintiff Personal Injury cases, including auto and truck accidents, and premises liability (slip & fall).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with investigations to determine at-fault parties and liability.

  • Maintain frequent communication with clients, gathering updates regarding medical treatment progression and economic losses.

  • Collect and organize medical records, billing records, and other supporting documentation related to damages.

  • Identify applicable health insurance coverage and determine liens.

  • Draft highly persuasive demand letters and other correspondence in preparation for settlement negotiations.

  • Prepare cases for settlement and litigation.

  • Draft, review, and file legal documents (pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, motions).

  • Coordinate and schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.

  • Communicate professionally with defense counsel, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other parties.

  • Conduct legal research and assist with preparation of trial notebooks and exhibits/visual aids.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Plaintiff's Personal Injury litigation (required).

  • Practical knowledge of pre-litigation and litigation case management.

  • Strong persuasive writing and communication skills.

  • Proven experience drafting demand letters and settlement materials.

  • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.

  • Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management software.

  • Paralegal Certificate or Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies (required/preferred).
