About the Job
We're seeking an experienced Case Manager with a strong background in Personal Injury law firms (minimum 3 years of experience).
In this role, you'll be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth case progression, empathetic communication, and precise coordination with attorneys, medical providers, and insurance adjusters.
Your ability to manage multiple cases while keeping everything accurate, timely, and client-focused will be the key to success.
Requirements
Core Responsibilities
- Serve as the main liaison between clients, attorneys, medical providers, and insurance companies.
- Open and manage new PI cases, ensuring proper documentation and intake procedures.
- Maintain accurate and organized case files, including medical records, bills, and client communications.
- Track treatment progress and follow up with providers to obtain records, reports, and invoices.
- Support attorneys in case preparation (drafting correspondence, organizing discovery, managing case timelines).
- Manage calendars, deadlines, and coordination of hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Prepare settlement demands and assist in medical lien negotiations.
- Provide proactive, empathetic communication to clients throughout the case.
Must-Haves for This Role
- 3+ years of experience as a Case Manager in a Personal Injury law firm.
- Strong knowledge of PI workflows: medical record requests, demand drafting, lien negotiation, litigation support.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus).
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases.
- Proficiency in case management software (Clio, Filevine, Needles, or similar).
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced legal environment.
Nice-to-Haves for This Role
- Experience with California or Texas PI cases and local court procedures.
- Familiarity with medical billing and lien resolution.
- Previous remote work experience supporting U.S.-based law firms
