We’re seeking an Automation Analyst to manage and improve our billing and claims operations through automation.
The ideal candidate is both analytical and hands‑on — someone who can identify process gaps, write Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks, and ensure billing accuracy and compliance across multiple systems (EVV, Medicaid, and insurance platforms).
This is a remote position available anywhere in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Automate billing and claims workflows using Python scripts and other automation tools.
- Integrate and reconcile data across systems (EVV, payroll, scheduling, and billing).
- Review claims submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance with payer and Medicaid requirements.
- Monitor EVV data integrity and correct exceptions or missing visit data.
- Perform quality assurance checks on billing data and claims files prior to submission.
- Research and troubleshoot claim rejections, resubmissions, and payment discrepancies.
- Document and continuously improve billing workflows, automation scripts, and standard operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python (for data manipulation, file parsing, and automation).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail — zero tolerance for errors in billing.
- Ability to manage multiple data sources, reconcile discrepancies, and document results.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment .
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with basic APIs, data imports/exports, or system integrations.
- Familiarity with Excel macros or other automation frameworks (e.g., Zapier, Power Automate).
- Salary Range: $25-30 an hour
- Part‑time: 15-20 hours a week
- Flexible work hours and a fully remote position.
