**Descripción del empleo**
**AECOM's Enterprise Capabilities is seeking an Architecture Manager (Head of Architecture – EC Colombia) for employment in Bogota, Colombia.**
Head of Architecture will lead and oversee architectural team operations, design excellence, and project delivery for the EC Colombia Center.

This position requires a dynamic leader who can inspire teams, foster a culture of collaboration and excellence, and drive innovation in architectural practices.

This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to establish the architectural team as a point of reference within the company.
**The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:**
+ Lead the architectural team, providing direction, mentorship, and fostering a culture of innovation and design excellence.
+ Develop and implement architectural strategies that align with Enterprise Capabilities vision.
+ Oversee the design and delivery of architectural projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
+ Collaborate with teams to integrate architecture in multidisciplinary projects
+ Champion sustainable and innovative design practices
+ Stay updated on global architectural trends, technologies, and methodologies to maintain AECOM’s competitive edge.
+ Recruit, train, and retain top architectural talent, fostering a high-performing and diverse team.
+ Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify growth opportunities for team members.
+ Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity and teamwork.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners, acting as the primary point of contact for architectural matters.
+ Participate in business development activities, including proposal development and client presentations.
**Requisitos**
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Architecture + 8 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
+ Proven experience managing large, complex architectural projects, preferably in transportation, institutional, or urban development sectors.
+ Strong knowledge of local and international building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
+ Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and project management tools.
+ Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
+ Fluency in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).

**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Architecture +10 years of experience in architectural design and project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
+ Master’s degree in Architecture, Urban Design, Interior Design or a related field.
+ Professional licensure in architecture (e.g., RA, LEED accreditation, or equivalent).
+ Experience working in a global organization or managing multicultural teams.
+ Strong business development skills, including proposal writing and client relationship management.
