The IT Application Support Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining and supporting the technology infrastructure at multiple Treasure Island and Prairie Island locations.
This position involves managing assigned applications, ensuring system reliability, and providing technical support to staff and guests.
The role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, system testing, documentation, and collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
The successful candidate will also assist in project management, user training, and help desk operations, contributing to the seamless operation of our IT environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong foundation in application support and a passion for delivering exceptional technical service in a dynamic hospitality setting.
Candidates should possess a minimum of a 2-year degree in Information Technology or a related field, complemented by at least one year of relevant application support experience or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Proven experience working with relational databases is required, demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and support database-driven applications.
Programming skills in SQL and experience with reporting services are preferred, as they will enhance the candidate's ability to develop and manage reports effectively.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to interact with team members and guests professionally.
