Purpose : Enable strategic decision-making through data.
Accountabilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines using Cloud technologies.
- Write efficient queries for exploration and automation efforts.
- Deliver and enhance new and current data products.
- Explain data insights and issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive workplace.
Reporting Relationships
- Primary Manager: Customer Insights Data & Analytics (CID&A) – Global Analytics Engineering
- Direct Reports: Not Applicable
- Shared Reports: Not Applicable
Dimensions
- No direct reports, with a direct reporting line to CID&A and a dotted line on GBS.
- Multiple priorities arise, with most work required under tight project deadlines.
Education / Experience / Other Information
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of technical experience in development, debugging, and testing data (SQL and/or Python).
- Demonstrated experience supporting the building and maintenance of data pipelines using Cloud-based tools.
- Advanced to expert level proficiency in SQL, including understanding of SQL Engine, complex queries, optimization, and data modeling.
- Medium level knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Able to write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code.
- Experience working with version control tools in collaborative environments.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools and monitoring solutions is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) language skills with a working knowledge of English equivalent to B1 or higher.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and good analytical and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and detailed, results-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Hybrid work; working hours might align to the eastern time zone.
