Overview
Amazon & Retail Media Strategist - Search (PPC) at Power Digital Marketing.
This role focuses on owning the execution, performance, and growth of Amazon and retail PPC campaigns within the client portfolio.
You will be a self-starter, align efforts with client goals, and work with account leadership to evolve strategy within the broader media mix.
You are responsible for reporting, optimizations, client communication, and keyword research, ad copy, bid optimization, and routine campaign management, sometimes with support from a Specialist.
You provide insights and forward-thinking strategy to clients and understand the service strategy and levers to drive performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage Amazon & retail search campaigns across clients of varying business types, sizes, and industries, including daily optimizations and high-level strategy changes.
- Provide intelligent analysis, interpretation, and action plans based on campaign performance data from Amazon Ad Console and other retail media platforms, tying into overall retail business performance.
- Participate in weekly department scrums and training sessions to expand channel knowledge.
- Continuously seek to improve campaign performance and business impact against client goals.
- Maintain frequent and excellent communication with internal teams and assigned clients.
- Contribute to the development of new department training materials.
- Utilize available AI and delegation resources to assist workflow where possible; employ AI technologies to enhance business processes.
- Leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department.
Role Requirements
- 2-3 years of digital marketing experience; 1-2 years in an agency setting preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Amazon / Retail search advertising, Google paid search advertising, or similar.
- Significant campaign management experience in one or more of the following: Amazon Ad Console, Walmart Connect, Instacart Ads, Criteo Retail, CitrusAd.
- Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office Suite(s).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational and project management skills.
- Self-motivated, quick learner with excellent interpersonal skills; interested in a long-lasting relationship with a growing company.
