Job Description

As an AI Solutions Engineer , you'll collaborate with leaders across multiple teams to identify high-ROI use cases, design, and build intelligent copilots and agents integrated with Microsoft 365 and Azure.

You'll oversee projects from discovery to production-driving innovation, security, and measurable results.

The Qualifications We Seek

• 1 to 3 years' relevant experience delivering copilots/agents using Azure OpenAI or Azure AI Studio (Prompt Flow), Azure AI Search, Semantic Kernel, or LangChain/LangGraph
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 extensibility (Copilot Studio, Microsoft Graph, Power Platform, Teams apps/bots)
• Proficiency in Azure cloud solutions: Functions, Storage, App Service, Entra ID, and Application Insights
• Solid software engineering foundation in Python (or Node/.NET), REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience transitioning projects from pilot to production with measurable impact
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills; self-driven and highly accountable
• English proficiency required; French is an asset but not mandatory

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Power BI, Databricks, or Snowflake
• Experience with containerization (Docker/AKS) and event-driven architecture
• Knowledge of prompt evaluation frameworks and safety tooling
• Prior experience in MSP/consulting environments or exposure to procurement workflows

Your Daily Tasks

• Run structured discovery with stakeholders across all departments; translate pain points into scorable use cases and business cases.
  
  
• Design, build, evaluate, and operate agentic systems (RAG + tool/function calling) for employees and customers.
  
  
• Integrate agents with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook), Microsoft Graph, Power Platform, and line‑of‑business APIs.
• Support marketing: content automation (drafts/briefs/summaries), lead enrichment and routing, campaign assistants, analytics/reporting copilots.
  
  
• Establish evaluation & monitoring for quality, safety, latency, and cost; drive continuous improvement.
  
  
• Implement AI dev‑ops (LLMOps): environments, CI/CD, secrets, telemetry, incident response, and cost controls.
  
  
• Define and enforce Responsible AI guardrails, privacy/security practices, and data governance with Purview and Entra ID.
  
  
• Enable and coach colleagues so teams can self‑serve simple automations where safe and appropriate.
  
  

What Success Looks Like (Outcomes & KPIs)

In 30-60 days

• Inventory the top 10-15 cross‑functional use cases; size value and effort and propose a sequenced roadmap.
  
  
• Stand up a minimal AI development environment in Azure (Azure AI Studio/Prompt Flow, repositories, environments, telemetry, cost tracking).
  
  
• Ship 1-2 quick‑win copilots/agents for internal use (e.g., knowledge Q&A over SOPs and service documentation).
  
  

In 90-180 days

• Move 3-5 agents into pilot/production with adoption plans, training, and support workflows.
  
  
• Establish governance & safety: data access patterns, Purview classifications, Entra ID consent, approval flows, testing/evaluation gates, incident playbooks.
  
  
• Baseline KPIs: hours saved, turnaround time reduction, agent containment/deflection, CSAT, model spend per interaction, evaluation quality scores, and zero safety incidents.
  
  

By 12 months

• A portfolio of 8-12 agents across internal efficiency and customer experience with attributable ROI.
  
  
• Documented playbooks and a repeatable AI delivery pipeline that others at Altanora can follow.
  
  

Signature Early Use Case: Quotes Automation Agent

• Design and deploy an agent that automates as much as possible of the quotation process, including drafting and sending emails to suppliers and tracking responses.
  
  
• Inputs: customer details, requested products/services, historical pricing, preferred suppliers, SLAs/terms.
  
  
• Agent capabilities: create RFQs, draft supplier emails in Outlook with proper context and attachments, follow up automatically, parse supplier replies/attachments, normalize pricing and terms, recommend vendor selection, propose margin, and draft customer quotes.
  
  
• Integrations: Microsoft 365 (Outlook/Teams/SharePoint), Azure AI Search for retrieval, CRM/PSA/ERP (as applicable), and storage of audit logs for compliance.
  
  
• Controls: enforce least‑privilege access, approval gates before sending external emails, retention and audit with Purview, and full observability on cost, latency, and quality.
