Accounts Payable Specialist - GCoE LatAm

This role administers the Accounts Payable processes for its Venezuelan entity and is based in Bogota, Colombia.
The local contact point will interact with the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Treasury Manager, the CFO, and the GBS offices in India and Malaysia.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the payment process to suppliers with the GBS in India, ensuring correct and timely recording of invoices and payments, reporting to management, and analysis of financial information.
- Ensure timely resolution of exceptions (RFI) in booking and invoice approval processes, following up with relevant stakeholders/teams.
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecast; monitor cash positions, identify risks and opportunities, and communicate accordingly.
- Manage the process of prepayments to suppliers, ensuring proper and timely reconciliations; hold regular meetings with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
- Perform other tasks as required by the position.

Requirements for Applying :
- University degree in Finance, Administration or related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience in similar roles; experience in shipping is a plus.
- B1/B2 English level is a must.
- Experience working in matrix structures and/or GBS is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial software; experience with AI solutions is a plus.
