Accounting Assistant

Who are we looking for?

We’re seeking an Accounting Assistant to help manage Accounts Payable transactions for our US1, CA, and USSW entities.

You’ll ensure financial accuracy and compliance, support internal audits, manage reconciliations, and handle client invoicing when needed.

Soft skills and working in an international environment are key.

Main Responsibilities

  • Transaction Processing, Reconciliation and Reporting:
    • Record benefits, contributions, and payroll in Dynamics.

    • Record and file supplier invoices, contractor invoices, and credit card transactions in D365.

    • Maintain and monitor the AP inbox to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.

    • Perform invoicing for QuickBooks and D365 clients, including issuing and posting invoices.

    • Send out customer statements (more than 90 days).

    • Any additional duties as requested by the leader.

  • Month End Closing Activities:
    • Record Microsoft invoices for US1, CA, and USSW.

    • Record Management/SSC/IT fees and other group charges.

    • Recognize expenses via the Deferral Schedules module.

    • Confirm all 3rd party AP invoices have been booked.

  • Audit And Compliance:
    • Prepare documents for the annual audit requested by the US Financial Controller.

  • Tax Preparation And Filing:
    • Record the tax offset entry.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Career in Accounting.

  • 1 year of relevant experience in Accounting.

  • High proficiency with MS Office and accounting software (e.g., Helisa, Dynamics, Loggro, SAP).

  • English communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Attention to detail, teamwork, integrity, independence, result orientation, and organization.

Desired

  • Previous experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365.

  • Experience in the consulting sector.

  • Experience in an international environment.
