The Account Strategist & Analyst is our clients' data translator and strategic compass.
You'll synthesize information from multiple sources—analytics platforms, market research, competitive intelligence, and proprietary reporting—and transform it into compelling narratives that drive business decisions.
This role is about connecting the dots between disparate data points and crafting actionable roadmaps that deliver measurable growth.
You'll combine analytical precision with strategic storytelling to help clients understand not just what's happening, but why it matters and what to do next.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Strategic Storytelling
Aggregate and analyze data from multiple sources including Google Analytics, CRM systems, market research, and proprietary client data
Transform complex, multi-platform datasets into cohesive narratives that reveal the complete picture of client performance and opportunity
Craft customized growth strategies fueled by data-driven insights and strategic recommendations
Design and deliver clear, compelling performance reports and dashboards that tell the story behind the numbers
Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies across data sources that signal opportunities for optimization or strategic pivots
Strategic Planning & Client Workshops
Collaborate with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to build integrated digital strategies aligned with client business objectives
Lead engaging, interactive client workshops to present recommendations, facilitate strategic discussions, and capture client priorities
Translate workshop outcomes into actionable quarterly roadmaps
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Specialized Expertise
Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams (Creative, Development, Marketing, SEO) and external partners to deliver innovative solutions
Ensure seamless execution of strategic plans through effective project coordination and communication
Maintain familiarity with the Shopify App ecosystem and proactively recommend apps that solve specific client challenges or unlock new capabilities
Champion a culture of continuous learning by staying current with emerging trends, tools, and platform updates
Additional Strategic Contributions
Leverage your unique skillset to contribute beyond core responsibilities, which may include:
Creating taxonomy recommendations and information architecture strategies
Conducting competitive analysis and market research
Building custom analysis frameworks or strategic planning tools
Contribute to agency-wide knowledge by developing frameworks, templates, and best practices
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Analytics, or related field
5+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing analytics, strategy, or account management, preferably in an agency environment
Proven experience working with and interpreting data from platforms like Google Analytics (GA4), BI tools, and other marketing analytics tools.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and analysis.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Google Data Studio/Looker Studio, Tableau) is a plus.
Proven track record developing and presenting strategic recommendations to clients or senior stakeholders
Experience facilitating client workshops or strategic planning sessions
Preferred
Experience with data visualization platforms (Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI)
Familiarity with Shopify and the Shopify App ecosystem
Exposure to A/B testing methodologies and experimentation frameworks
Agency or multi-client environment experience
