The Account Executive is fully responsible for supporting clients' needs, searching for availability and capacity for their loads on specific lanes and calculating/negotiating rates.
Account Executives may also assist in clients' various requests, issues, or concerns to provide the appropriate follow-up and resolution.
The employee should be an adaptable, knowledgeable multitasker with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities are as follows and not limited to
- Send BOLs, PODs and ticket scales to the carriers/customers when required.
- Take responsibility for any additional fees involved on each load and modify commodities accordingly in the 3PL system.
- Search for availability and capacity on specific lanes requested by the client.
- Calculate, negotiate, or request rates.
- Responsible for always acknowledging any notification from partners, carriers, and clients.
- Update loads status in the 3PL system when needed.
- Identify, communicate, and escalate any situation involved to the load and work on a resolution to guarantee customer's satisfaction.
- Notify to the warehouses the loads that are going to be loaded and send the BOLs.
- Notify the material that will be sent to a different location and fill out an online form in the SAP.
- Update inventories in case the status of the load changes and in case we receive new material.
- Request proof of delivery to carriers.
- Add products to Customer's list in the 3PL system.
- Responsible for entering the loads and creating LTL in the system for intercompany material customer material.
- Other duties as assigned.
