Job description

Role and Responsibilities

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be based in
Colombia or Peru
, provide technical assistance to LANDI customers in your region, primarily through JIRA ticket handling.

Depending on the type of customer (ISV, distributor, acquirer) and the priority of the issue, you will:

  • Be assigned customer JIRA tickets for troubleshooting.

  • Identify whether the issue is hardware or software-related and route it accordingly.

  • Analyze issues, reproduce problems, and escalate them following LANDI's procedures.

  • Ensure that tickets are resolved within the Service Level Agreement (SLA) established between LANDI and the customer.

  • Contribute to LANDI's internal knowledge base and FAQ to share your experience and serves LANDI customers worldwide.

Who You Are

  • Autonomous, accountable, and proactive, with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Technically curious—you love diving deep into technical issues and finding solutions.

  • A strong communicator with solid experience in
    Linux, Windows
    ,
    Android OS
    and have experience in analyzing code & logs.

  • Experience in the
    payments industry
    (EMV, Nexo) and a solid understanding of
    security topics
    such as symmetric and asymmetric cryptography, PKI, encryption, and digital signatures.

  • You may be required to travel within your region to meet with customers.

  • You're excited to join a growing international team and contribute ideas and improvements.

Experience and Training

  • Degree in
    IT
    ,
    Computer Science
    , or Engineering.

  • Solid technical foundation in
    software development
    and
    quality assurance.

  • Hands-on experience with
    Linux, Windows
    and
    Android-based systems.

  • Familiarity with
    Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
    and ITSM practices is a plus point.

  • Strong experience in the
    payments industry
    and
    security technologies
    , including experience in
    Linux/Windows/Android development.

  • Excellent oral and written communication in English.
